The greatest hazard in life is to risk nothing

      As the quote stated: "Life is like a beautiful melody, only the lyrics are messed up.. " No one can deny the fact that we are living a life which has no sorrows or pain in it. The best we can do is to make the best out of this life. I keep pondering what I am doing with my life. It is not strange for a guy to constantly nave to try to figure out what He is trying to do because as you go down the path of life, doors that you never expected to be there will be opening to you till the point that you get stucked in the middle without any clue of which door to get in..

      A sense of uncertainty, hesitating and fear of being wrong overcomes you like darkness overcomes the sunrays at dusk. And We keep hoping that someone will come down the road with a lantern to help guide us to the path that we should take but in vain. Here we are, left in the darkness all alone with no idea what should we do, which door should we open, is it the right one or the wrong one? Who knows.....

      And suddenly out of nowhere, you realised that you are not in darkness but rather in a prison cell created by yourself from all the taboos of the society, the expectations of your family, the normative ethical principles and your so-called ambitions in life. All you've done is enclosed yourself safe from all the doors that spell ''risky'' by creating a parallel world of your own where you can justify your actions by blaming everything on others.

      But this won't forever last long, as sooner or later, you'll come to face the reality that life isn't about living according to what people think is the best or  what did you accomplish during your lifetime because in the end, it's not the years in your life that count. It's the life in your years that really counts! Because simply life is what we make it, always has been, always will be.

      We can sit in a corner grumbling and growling that life is not fair with us or we can just take our chances and take life by the lapel and tell that : "I am with you kid. Let's go."  Maya Angelo wasn't a fool when she said that, but rather she has realised the wisdom behind living a real life, that is, life is a compromise of what your ego wants to do, what experience tells you to do, and what your nerves let you do.

      Thus let us think, what are we doing with our life? Are we still hiding behind some crappy excuses or are we making the most out of it? We've only one life, only one chance to make it count no matter what as this life is not perpetual but rather a temporary one. Are we cut out to make out the most out of it?

Tell me not, in mournful numbers,
Life is but an empty dream!
For the soul is dead that slumbers,
and things are not what they seem.
Life is real! Life is earnest!
And the grave is not its goal;
Dust thou art; to dust returnest,
Was not spoken of the soul.
